SHAKOY | 75/366 BPC

When I was a kid I used to wait for ‘manong’ to pass by our house every afternoon shouting ‘shakoy, shakoy, init pa’, all the kids in our street will come running and pick one, I can’t exactly remember how much was one back then, but it’s just sad that these days no one does anymore, if someone would, they’ll be reported at the Brgy. hall for public disturbance :(

Anyway, sharing my shakoy I bought for afternoon snack from a nearby bakery.

For some reason I am not a fan of shakoy. There is something in it that my taste buds just don’t seem to take it. I would take a little bite though, but that’s about it. :) Visiting late via BPC.
